Prior to the contractor establishing on site, the Community will be undertaking the following tasks:
• Removal of existing perimeter fence.
• Demolition of the existing courts.
• Earthworks
• Disposal of excavated material
• Supply 220m3 of sandstone hard fill material.
On competition of the above by the Community. The work will consist of earthworks, placing and compacting hard fill materials, drainage, perimeter nib wall, perimeter fence and gates.
The artificial courts, line markings etc will be finished off by the Community’s preferred artificial Turf supplier.
In the unlikely event of the Community not being able to fulfil its obligations in finishing off the courts with artificial turf, inclusive of all court markings, goal posts, and netting for Netball, Tennis and Hockey. The Principal, will with prior notice, request for the Contractor to assume this responsibility and to complete the project. PC sums have been included in the schedule to cover the costs to complete.
