Far North District Council (Council) is seeking to replace its existing, physical servers, storage and network hardware. This renewal will also support a future hybrid cloud environment when future needs and requirements are developed on Councils digital transformational journey.
The server and network renewal process is a cornerstone project that will be used to support planned business change projects, that are enabled by IT. Council has a view of becoming a progressive Council that will deliver modern and customer focused services to the Far North region.
Council retains the right to accept multiple vendors in respect of different services which, for clarity, means that the infrastructure and services proposed could be provided by several different providers.
