1. Introduction
Tenders are invited for the above contract, located at:
• Far North Districts Council’s headquarters at Memorial Avenue, Kaikohe
The works consist of removal of existing interior walls, construction of new interior walls and joinery, installation of new carpet and ceilings, painting, electrical and fire systems upgrades and other minor works as required.
2. Background
FNDC will be redecorating and converting to open plan some their office space in their headquarters in Kaikohe. There are two main buildings on the premises, known as the Lockwood Building and the Annex Building. The majority of the work will be in the dated Lockwood Building. Some works have already been completed in some of the common areas and the new works will need to blend in with this.
