Waikato District Council (WDC) is the local government authority for the Waikato District. WDC has adopted some ambitious targets, and is committed to building “Livable, Thriving & Connected Communities". To make this achievable we need great people and great facilities. WDC’s sees the services delivered from the Facilities Maintenance Services Contract, as a collective and collaborative effort in delivering the desired outcomes for Waikato. It is critical that all assets are well maintained to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose through robust maintenance processes.
The contract presents a significant opportunity for Waikato District Council and its service provider to work together to deliver positive and enduring community outcomes. The contract will require a strong, collaborative relationship. The intention is that the contract will progressively develop to allow both WDC and the selected provider to adapt as facilities management maturity grows within the contract term.
