The purpose of this Notice of Intent is to inform our suppliers of the exciting new and upcoming Project for Wellington Zoo.
Wellington Zoo is New Zealand’s first Zoo, home to native and exotic animals, and is recognised for expertise in animal welfare, conservation, visitor experience and sustainability. In January we will be issuing an RFP for the design and construction of an animal habitat for Snow Leopards to be built within the Zoo. Snow Leopards are endangered in the wild, and the new habitat will not only showcase best animal care practises for these rare big cats, but also engage the Zoo’s visitors and our wider community with their story through innovative design and visitor experience.
The RFP will seek proposals to provide an integrated Detailed Design solution for the creation and redevelopment of an existing habitat to house our Snow Leopards.
We are excited to hear from suppliers with your ideas, experience, knowledge and creativity for this Project for Wellington Zoo, once the RFP has been issued.
