Overview

This RFT is an invitation to Tenderers to submit a tender to the Principal for the Martinborough and Greytown Wastewater Treatment Plant Desludging contract opportunity ("Tender").

The Contract Works the subject of this RFT is the desludging works at both the Martinborough Wastewater Treatment Plant (MWWTP) and Greytown Wastewater Treatment Plant (GWWTP). The scope of desludging includes the construction of a laydown area and bund (civil earthworks) and desludging oxidation and maturation ponds using a Geotube® Dewatering System.

The Contract Works will consist of two (2) Separable Portions (one per site):
Separable Portion 1 – MWWTP
• Construction of a laydown area and bund
• Desludging oxidation and maturation ponds using a Geotube® Dewatering System including selection of the optimum Geotube® size and configuration to achieve the target solids removal.

Separable Portion 2 – GWWTP
• Construction of a laydown area and bund
• Desludging oxidation and maturation ponds using a Geotube® Dewatering System including selection of the optimum Geotube® size and configuration to achieve the target solids removal (Provisional item)
