Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Contractors for the installation of water supply manifolds and backflow prevention devices within the Murupara township and outlying properties connected to the Murupara drinking water reticulation system.
The works involve:
Management and supervision of the works inclusive of Health and Safety, Quality, Traffic Management, programming and reporting and Social and Environmental requirements;
Provide and deliver notification letters to residents, public relations and liason;
Removal of existing valves and boxes to urban domestic service connections. Supply and installation of approximately 619 new manifolds, valves and in ground boxes;
Removal of existing valves and boxes to rural service connections. Supply and installation of approximately 50 testable double check valves installs of varying sizes and in ground boxes;
Removal of existing valves and boxes to commercial service connections. Supply and installation of approximately 4 testable double check valves of varying sizes and 28 composite manifolds, valves and in ground boxes;
Supply and install approximately 6 RPZ units;
Logging of all new installs, photograph each site and upload into the WDC data base.
