Sports Parks Maintenance

Details

WDC is looking for a contractor to manage and maintain its 26 sports parks across the district including around 100 sports fields.
 the sports parks range from Barge Park home of equestrian events, Cobham Oval premier cricket facility, Kensington Park etc.The total mown area is approximately 1,387,141m2.
 the contractor must provide a suitable qualified and experienced sports turf manager to ensure our sports parks are available to the appropriate standard required by user codes.
 the contract also requires development of a renovation programme, spring and autumn, to ensure each field or cricket wicket is renovated to maximise its hours of use and retain user satisfaction.
 the contractor is also expected to manage and maintain a booking system for each field or event area and liaise with users
 maintenance of Northland Event Centre grounds (commercially known as Semenoff Stadium) and managed by a Northland Event Centre (2021) Trust is also included as a separable portion.

As noted above, the purpose of this ROI is to select a shortlist of genuine potential suppliers to work through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. In general terms the process will be as set out below.

The ROI is intended to be simple and easy to respond to and reduce the overall workload and cost for all parties involved.
