This Request for Tenders (RFT) invites suitably qualified Suppliers to submit proposals for the upgrade of the ASB Sports Centre Lighting and Lighting Control System.
The ASB Sports Centre (Wellington) hosts approximately one million visitors per year and the quality and upkeep of the lighting standards and specifications are critical.
Wellington City Council (Council) requires a solution which includes the removal and disposal of the existing infrastructure as well as the design, supply and installation of new LED lighting. The lighting standards must be suitable for local, regional, national, and international sporting events; including televised events.
The key outcomes of this lighting upgrade include (but are not limited to):
- improvements in lighting performance
- reduction of Council's carbon footprint
- reduction of maintenance costs
- improvements in energy savings; and
- elimination of potential health and safety hazards.
We are looking for Suppliers who are competent, experienced and confidently able to deliver the LED lighting solution in a professional and timely manner and be able to work collaboratively with Council to minimise disruption to current operations of the ASB Sports Centre. Suppliers must have a good track record in the supply and installation of LED lighting projects (with a minimum ten-year warranty).
