Wellington City Council is issuing this Advanced Notice on behalf of Let’s Get Wellington Moving and its programme partners; Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa.
LGWM is seeking suitably experienced constructors to deliver the first two physical works contracts under our Three-year Programme; Golden Mile and Thorndon Quay Hutt Road.
We are currently working with industry to help shape our procurement planning, but we are looking to come to market with an ECI variant late this year. The successful ECI contractors will work with the respective design teams to help shape the detailed design, prior to construction. Construction starts have been signalled for mid-late 2022.

We anticipate approaching the market with an RFx in November 2021
