Wellington City Council requires a new operator for the development and ongoing operation of the Kiwi Point Quarry (KPQ).
The operations will include re-cutting the steep North Face to the correct grade, extracting rock resources from the North Face pit and development of the Southern Face, which requires considerable investment to move the overburden material before high quality and more profitable rock can be accessed.
This is an invitation to suitably qualified suppliers to submit a Registration for the Quarry Operator for Kiwi Point Quarry contract opportunity.
This ROI is the first step in a multi-step procurement process. Following evaluation of ROI responses, shortlisted Respondent/s will be invited to submit a detailed proposal in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP). This relates only to the first step (ROI) in the process.
