Overview
The Michael Fowler Centre (MFC) has 3 stage lifts, currently run by a screw jack system which were installed during initial construction (1980-83). The drive mechanisms of the stage lifts have now reached an end of life state and require replacement. Wellington City Council would like a new drive system installed with minimal structural alteration required, reliable, proven, and easy to maintain.
Wellington City Council and Venues Wellington are looking for credible providers, who have the capability and experience to design, and install a proven working stage lift system into the MFC.
The ROI process will result in the identification of a short list of pre-qualified parties that would be invited to the closed RFT stage.
