Western Bay of Plenty District Council wishes to appoint a panel of legal advisors to provide external legal services to Council for an initial three year period, with the option to renew for a further two, one year periods. It is the Council’s intention that the panel will consist of two Tauranga firms and two national firms. The final number of firms on the panel will be decided by the Council as part of the procurement process. Tauranga firms will be required to have an office within the jurisdictional boundaries of Western Bay of Plenty District Council.

The purpose of this registration of interest (“ROI”) process is to invite interested parties to register their interest in providing legal services to the Western Bay of Plenty District Council.

The ROI document consists of the following:

 Section A – Overview: provides background information, instructions and conditions for responding to this ROI.

 Section B – ROI Process: outlines the conditions and requirements of this ROI process, together with the evaluation process and criteria.

 Section C – Information required from Tenderers: outlines the information required in the ROI response.

This ROI process is intended to identify and shortlist tenderers capable of responding to an in-depth Request for Tender process.


Closing date for the ROI is Tuesday 24 February at 2pm.
