This is a measure and value contract to install 1750 meters of bulk water main in No 3 Road Te Puke, Eastern Supply Zone (ESZ). The pipe shall be 355mm OD PE 100 PN 12.5 Polyethylene. The contract includes cutting- in and connecting to councils existing network in four locations along the pipe route, disconnecting and reconnecting existing services.
All Driveways and Roads are to be directionally drilled. The pipe shall have all butt welded joints.
Ground water may be encountered at some locations and the contractor shall allow for pumping in the unit rates.
As-built records of the new bulk water mains and all associated works are to be supplied to the engineer in both hard copy and electronically to WBOPDC format.
