Overview

TECT All Terrain Park is seeking a suitably experienced small to medium earthworks contractor to assist the Park's Ranger Team with the maintenance of the Park's network of specialist walking, cycling, horse-riding and motorcycle trails.

The Western Bay of Plenty District Council and Tauranga City Council have jointly developed the TECT All Terrain Park on Pyes Pa Road / SH36 adjacent to the boundary between Western Bay of Plenty District Council and Rotorua District Council. The Park is a sub-regional park which is being used by residents from all three Councils, by visitors from other parts of New Zealand, and international visitors.

The Park compliments the existing amateur and commercial recreational facilities within the Bay of Plenty Region, and specifically caters for activities that conflict with residential environments i.e.; noisy sports including clay target shooting, off-road 4WD and rally sport, motorcycling and rifle shooting. In addition, approximately 25% of the Park is set aside for activities such as mountain biking, equestrian, dog-sledding and other non-motorised activities, ecological corridors, and native plantings.

Tenders close at Western Bay of Plenty Council’s Tender Box on Thursday 13 September 2018 at 11:00 am.
