Overview
The Beachcare Programme is a community-driven coastal restoration initiative within the Waikato region. Waikato Regional Council is seeking two Beachcare Coordinators that will support Beachcare groups with coastal restoration, including providing technical advice, planning and coordinating working bees and plant orders, and reporting on progress. Beachcare Coordinators are expected to promote the programme and work with a broad range of stakeholders, including tangata whenua, rural and suburban communities, pest plant control contractors, nurseries and representatives from local government.
