This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued to enable Council to identify a supplier for the development of an advanced coordination centre course in logistics. The Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM) sector is seeking a standardized approach to the supply and delivery of professional development for functional Emergency Operations Centres (EOC) and Emergency Coordination Centres (ECC) roles (now collectively referred to as coordination centres). The Integrated Training Framework (ITF) is the mechanism for delivering upon this goal of a national training programme.
To date a broad framework and a draft foundational course has been developed. There is also an intermediate course near completion which will be available at the start of this project.
