The Project scope is:-
- The construction of a new extension to the existing Library at the Waimate District Council
- The refurbishment of the existing Library
- The refurbishment of the Council Chamber and Meeting Room

The Contract Works required are:-
- The construction of a new extension to the existing Library equating to approximately 145 square metres
- The refurbishment of the existing Library Space equating to approximately 280 square metres.
- The refurbishment of the existing Council Chambers and adjacent Meeting Room equating to approximately 105 square metres.
