Overview

This Tender is for the Play Spaces Renewal and Development contract at reserves within Waipā district.
The work for the project includes but is not limited to, the following:
General
• Preparation and implementation of a Quality Plan and a Health and Safety Plan;
• Traffic management plan;
• Preparation and regular updates of a Construction Programme;
• Attendance at regular site meetings (hosted by the Contractor);
• Ongoing construction management and liaison throughout the contract;
• Obtaining all notices and permits required to complete all works;
• Tidy site on completion of the works;
• Maintenance of access, construction site;
• Erosion and sediment control;
• Compliance with resource consent conditions; and
• Incidental works as required.

The site specific work for the project includes but is not limited to:
• Survey set out and control;
• Determine position/height of overhead powerline and keep clear;
• Dig out and base preparation;
• Drainage and service connections;
• Play equipment supply and installation;
• Safety surfacing supply and installation;
• Concrete footpaths and kerbs;
• Concrete walls;
• Timber fences;
• Park furniture supply and installation;
• Garden and specimen tree planting;
• Keeping site fenced off during construction;
• Complete general site civil works;
• Maintenance during construction;
• Incidental works as required;
• Reinstate the site on completion of the works; and
• Preparation and supply of as-built drawings for certification by the Engineer.
