Overview

The University of Otago requires the supply of Dairy Products (Milk, Cultured and Cheese) in support of its provision of service to the University. This includes the catering support to the Halls of Residences, Union Catering (Café’s, Food Court, Retail, Conference and events, College Catering) and the wider campus departments/staff rooms.

Union

The Union is a commercial University-owned business unit comprising of 26 operations in 15 locations on and around campus. Including, Retail outlets Campus Shop, Archway Shop, Commerce Shop and College Shop and the food outlets Frankly Sandwiches, Café Albany, Union Grill, Food Court, Hunter Cafe, St David Café and the University Plaza Café, Marsh Study Centre, University Visitors' Centre, University of Otago Staff Club, Gallery Restaurant, Refuel Bar and also have significant Conference and Event interests.

Residential Colleges

The Hall of Resident food service operations provides a food service to almost 2300 students daily at University College, City College, Hayward College, Aquinas College, Abbey College, Cumberland College, Te Rangi Hiroa College, Toroa College, Arana College, Carrington College and Studholme College.

University Departments/Staff Rooms

This tender includes the delivery of 1L and 2L milk to campus wide departments/staff rooms, delivered on Tuesday and Thursdays.
