The University of Auckland has undertaken a review of its web content and technology and is seeking potential suppliers to participate in a Pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) to determine interest and capabilities in providing Wayfinding Solution to the University of Auckland.
The University manages around 280 buildings across 5 main teaching campuses and several satellite sites. Although physical signage and digital signage have been put in place across campuses, it is challenging for students, staff and visitors to navigate their way around lecture theatres, computer labs, reading areas, toilets, meeting rooms and Points of Interest. Student Contact and Support Services receive 1500 calls from students asking for directions during the beginning of new semester and exam periods.
As part of Student Journey Review, wayfinding was identified as critical and needs immediate improvement.
