The New Zealand Government wants to ensure that there is a resilient, safe and reliable passenger and freight ferry service across Cook Strait.
This document on GETS is an Information Pack provided to the private sector inviting ideas for alternative options for the Government to procure ferry services, including for rail enabled ferries, to meet this primary objective.
