Tamaki Regeneration Limited (TRL) set up the Residential Property Development Partner Panel in December 2015 which comprises of a range of experienced development partners and builders. These partners are currently working with TRL to deliver early catalyst projects including a range of medium and higher density residential products.

TRL now wishes to refresh the existing panel via this EOI. The refresh is intended to enhance the existing Panel and to enable the efficient procurement of housing-led development on land currently owned by TRL. Housing led development is predominantly residential but may include other subsidiary uses, for example retail, leisure, social and educational uses. These will be provided at different scales and intensities, ranging from small housing redevelopments to single or multi-staged redevelopments within TRL's neighbourhood regeneration programme. The tenure mix will need to provide a range of social, affordable and market homes.

Tamaki's regeneration programme opens up significant opportunities for developers to contribute to one of Auckland's highest social and economic priorities. Over the next 15 years, the Tamaki regeneration programme will transform 170 hectares of prime suburban land to deliver more than 7,500 new quality homes, including around 2,500 new social houses, as well as other community amenities.

A range of new quality mixed-tenure homes, along with increased homeownership rates, economic uplift, employment and business pathways will contribute to a vibrant and diverse Tamaki community - building on the past while attracting a new generation of Aucklanders into the area.
