Solution Integrator and Supply of Equipment and Services for the Refresh of Technology for the Transpower Telecommunications Network

TransGO is the national telecommunications network that underpins all the communications network services used by Transpower. These services include our industry-specific critical services such as protection signalling, SCADA and operational voice as well as other enterprise Information and Telecommunications Technology (ICT) services. It is predominantly a privately-owned and managed network, utilising buried optical fibre (and to a lesser extent microwave radio) between substations and other Transpower sites.

The TransGO Refresh Programme of work involves procurement activities scheduled to commence with this ITP and conclude in 2025/26. 

This Invitation to Participate is an approach to suppliers who wish to be considered for pre-qualification to participate in one or more of the upcoming TransGO procurement streams and to receive related documentation. The ITP is the first step of Transpower’s procurement process, rather than a market research tool or solely a notice of upcoming tenders. The subsequent ROIs and RFPs for the procurement streams will be conducted through closed competitive tender processes, involving Pre-qualified Respondents as appropriate for the required services.
