Transpower is looking to identify the market breadth and experience of quantity surveyors in the civil / construction works sector. We have a need for Quantity Surveying (QS) support for projects that run our offices (Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Christchurch). Specifically, we are looking for the following services with relation to our civil and construction works projects:
• Pre-tender scope confirmation and associated cost build ups
• Tender Reviews
• Variation evaluation
• Analyse costs incurred and project the forecast end cost
• General QS support to the project & programme manager
Transpower carries out many large and small projects right across the country on our extensive assets. This support is mainly for our mid-range projects.
These projects often entail two very different types of contractor works:
• Electrical specialist work
• Civil/construction work
Transpower are not seeking electrical specialist Quantity Surveying services, this ROI is more aimed at civil / construction aspect of our project works. However, we have given you an opportunity to identify other QS areas that you are competent in within the response table.
