Taupo District Council are looking for a suitable licenced contractor to haul asbestos contaminated crushed concrete to Ridge Road Quarry (near Pokeno – North Waikato Region) from TDC’s landfill site at Broadlands (Taupō).

It is expected that the total material that needs to be disposed weighs around 4,425 m3 (circa. 7,523 tons)

Works are to be delivered by a Class-A licensed asbestos specialist.

This will be advertised in April with work beginning as soon as practically possible.
