The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite Respondents to submit Proposals for the provision of a Business Continuity and Backup/Archival technology solution to ensure TDC is able fulfil its requirements to store, maintain and retrieve data in a timely fashion while maintaining integrity.
1.2 Respondents are product suppliers with a proven ability to supply, deliver, install, implement, support, develop and maintain enterprise Business Continuity and Archival technology solutions in a New Zealand Local Government environment. The Council seeks to partner with a Supplier(s) who will provide a total system solution.
1.3 The objective of this RFP is to identify a Service Provider(s) who can work with TDC help it meet its current business objectives and future business needs for:
1. Backup/Archival solution (storage and associated software)
2. Business continuity solution (storage and associated software)
1.4 The Council seeks a solution that can meet needs today and future proof data growth. We seek a solution we can grow into, not something we grow out of.
