Overview

Thames-Coromandel District Council is seeking to renew its Roading and Transportation Professional Services contract for the three-year period 2025-28, commencing 01 July 2025.
This RFP seeks an experienced professional service provider to be co-located with council staff who can effectively integrate with the Council teams and our other suppliers / contractors, be proactive, and provide full-service asset and network management and engineering support.
The scope of services broadly includes:
• Programming and information management.
• Local road network management.
• Capital works engineering and management.
• Asset management services and administration.
• Network controls.
• Identification and reporting on road safety issues.
• High speed data field validation and treatment selection.
• Emergency works engineering and management.
• Monitoring and reporting to internal Council teams and decision makers and to meet requirements of NZTA as the co-investor and other external stakeholders.
• Other services as required to supplement capacity or provide specialist inputs.
Respondents should note the compulsory Supplier Briefing Session to be held in Thames on Wednesday 4 December, Respondents should register for this by Monday 2 December via Ed Varley (ed.varley@tcdc.govt.nz). While in-person attendance is preferred, an online invitation will be made available to Respondents who are unable to attend in person.
