The Mangatoi Pine Forest is situated in the headwaters of the Tautau stream, one of the two streams that supply Tauranga City with its drinking water supply.
Tauranga City Council (TCC) is seeking to contract the services of an experienced harvest manager to provide a professional harvesting, marketing and engineering service for the sale of the Mangatoi pine forest compartments 1- 3.
Mangatoi Forest Compartments 1-3, consisting of approximately 37 ha of mature Pinus radiata, is situated on Mangatoi Road off SH36 approximately 25km due South of Tauranga CBD, between Tauranga and Rotorua.
There is an optional tenderers site inspection to be held at 10am on 27 March 2015 (see tender documents for further details). Please register your intention to attend with the authorised representative as per the tender documents.
