The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of this upcoming Project.

This is a one stage.

The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of upcoming request for proposal for the civil works of the 160-176 Devonport Road Carpark.
The scope of the RFP extends to the provision of a Main Contractor for a new carpark development at Devonport Road, Tauranga under New Zealand Standard NZS 3910:2013 Conditions of Contract (Measure and Value) for building and civil engineering construction.
The project site, located at 160-176 Devonport Road, covers an area of approximately 3107m² and is occupied by three primary existing buildings. The existing underlying titles include Allotment 171 Section 2 TN OF Tauranga, Lot 1 DPS 3300, and Lot 2 DPS 3530.
The final parking facility will comprise of 100 parking spaces with provisions for bicycle parking.
The present condition of the site involves ongoing demolition activities, and it will be handed over to the civil contractor with no remaining structures, maintaining the existing concrete slab foundations and asphalt areas.
The civil construction scope of the project encompasses the following tasks:
• Regrade the existing site and resurface with chipseal and line marking.
• Install approximately 100m of concrete kerbing
• Install concrete pad with bike parking facilities
• Install stormwater system to collect and discharge water through curbside outlets with proprietary treatment devices.
• Install utility services to support new lighting, CCTV systems, and pay machines.
• Install approximately 40m of 1.6m high masonry block wall.
• Protection of neighboring properties and buildings during construction
• Removal of existing vehicles crossings and reinstatement of public kerb and footpath
• Incorporate value engineering and sustainability construction options.
Construction contract to be completed by Christmas 2023.
