Tauranga City Council is currently seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified design and build contractors/companies to construct a new community centre in Merivale, Tauranga.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced design and build company/contractor to demonstrate their skills delivering a quality facility in the Tauranga region. You will have the ability to provide design leadership and demonstrate your craft in one of the fastest growing regions in the country.
We require:
• Collaborative design: We want a collaborative design, with TCC, community and Mana Whenua a part of the design process
• Construction: The quality of the workmanship and surface finishing are very important as is the safety of our people and environment.
• Value Engineering: We need to deliver value for money and will require the design and build company/contractor to come up with cost effective options.
• Accessibility / Universal designs: Supplier should demonstrate their commitment to universal design principles and their ability to deliver an inclusive solution that meets the diverse needs of all users.
• Working with community: TCC is looking for a supplier that can incorporate community feedback into the design
