The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of the release of a Request for Proposal for the TC96/21 Roading Maintenance and Renewals Contract.
The scope includes for the maintenance and renewal for road related assets in Tauranga City. To deliver best-for-network outcomes, the contract model optimises ownership through a highly collaborative approach that's built into the contract document and organisational structure that promotes co-development, co-delivery and optimised management of risk.
In short, the Principal takes primary ownership for the network level of service through robust asset management and programming, with support from the Contractor to ensure efficient programming. The Contractor takes primary ownership for delivery, with support from the Principal to remove barriers to efficient delivery.
AN INDUSTRY BRIEFING WILL BE HELD AT COUNCIL OFFICES 91 WILLOW STREET TAURANGA AT 9AM ON 29 JULY 2021.
Request for Tenders are expected to be released on 6th August 2021. Documents will be released at www.tenderlink.com/tauranga (there is no charge for registration)
Tender period will be 5 weeks, with tenderer interactives in week 3.
Project award is expected to be early October with commencement in early December 2021.
Fixed term Contract period will be 31 months + 3 years + 3 years, ie aligning with NLTP 3 year cycle.
