Tauranga City Council invites Tenders for the construction of 426m of Grenada Street roadway, between Hibiscus Avenue and Sandhurst Drive to the standards for collector roads as set out in the IDC.
The scope includes additional works as follows:
• A stormwater soakage to ground system comprising sumps, filter manholes and soakage modules under footpaths
• Water supply connection between the two ends of Grenada Street and a branch to the north boundary
• A 30m long 1500mm diameter reinforced concrete carrier pipe (casing) for future installation of a proposed 1200mm diameter ocean outfall discharge pipeline
• A 150mm diameter water main the full length of the link road
• A 150mm diameter rising main from the existing pump station blank cap to the 300mm diameter wastewater rising main situated in the drainage easement
