Tauranga City Council invites Registrations of Interest to procure specialist civil, environmental and mechanical consulting engineering design and resource consent preparation services for river training and water supply intake modifications. The consultant will design, specify and apply for consent for river training works and modifications to a municipal water supply stream intake to reduce risk of silt inundation during flooding and reduce (as much as reasonably possible) the volume of silt entrained into the intake during treatment operations.
The consultant’s appointment will form one task in a broader project to increase the process reliability, functionality and operability of the treatment plant intake.
