Tauranga City Council is seeking to procure software that will provide a service for the capture, storage and transmission of information related to the operation of utilities infrastructure for the purpose of monitoring the operations and compliance requirements of that infrastructure. The purpose of this software is to ensure the large volume of Water Quality data that is generated for the Water Treatment plants, can be translated into a compliance report suitable for the Ministry of Health Water Quality report to show compliance to the Drinking water standards New Zealand 2005, as required by the Health (Drinking Water Amendment) Act 2007.
The second component of this software should provide the ability to monitor Resource Consent compliance to ensure that Council complies with all conditions of consents issued by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council (BOPRC). The software must provide a service for the storage of individual resource consents, provide compliance status information and allow for transmission of information required under the monitoring conditions. The software must ensure monitoring data can be translated into a compliance report for both internal and external reporting.
