The Principal Tasman District Council is inviting tenders for Contract 1571, Collingwood, Upper Takaka and Pohara Water Treatment Plant Upgrades

The scope of the work is fully described in the attached tender document, and key items of work are -

Collingwood
Addition of cartridge filtration.
New caustic dosing plant to replace the existing aeration tower.
Associated works including upgrades for chemical delivery and pipework modifications
Automation and control upgrades.

Pohara
Renew equipment including chlorine dosing equipment and chlorine contact tank.
Incorporation of a standby treated water pump.
Process operation and control improvements.
Communications upgrade.

Upper Takaka
Renew filter media.
Addition of chlorination.
Automation upgrades including changes to raw water flush operation.
