Tararua District Council will be inviting suitably qualified and experienced maintenance contractors to submit quotations for the provision of parks and reserves maintenance services.
The contract(s) will cover routine and reactive maintenance to ensure all public, rural, and urban green spaces remain safe, clean, and are well-maintained for community use.

Towns will include Norsewood, Ormondville, Akito, Pongaroa, Dannevirke, Woodville, Mangatainoka, Pahiatua and Eketahuna.

The contract(s) offer a great opportunity for experienced maintenance contractors to expand their portfolios and work on high-visibility community assets. The successful respondent(s) will be responsible for delivering -

 Spraying, clearing weeds, and trimming.
 Mowing and urban mowing.
 Maintaining amenity gardens, planting and mulching including trimming, pruning and shaping trees, shrubs and hedges.
 Pest plant eradication. (as per horizons regional council eradication list)
 Pest eradication.
 Cleaning, park furniture and playground equipment, monuments, shelters, BBQs, all signage and plaques, lichen removal and prevention for pathways.
 Sports field and court maintenance.
 Graffiti removal, reporting vandalism and repairs.
