The Tararua District Council (TDC) is preparing to call for capabie service delivery providers to support tree planting projects to enhance land stability and roading network reslience.

The project through MSD funding will create employment and training opportunities.
The successful service delivery provider will manage and mobilise the workforce through job placements made by MSD.

The expected term of the project is 3 years with 20 sites per year, with the planting season occuring around June, July and August.

Trees will be provided by Horizons.

This is an opportunity to support broader social outcomes and to build workforce skills and provide employment.
