Overview

Tararua District Council (TDC) is supporting the Bush Aquatic Trust (BAT) in the procurement for design and build services for the construction of a new community swimming pool.

Under our MOU both parties are working towards a common goal is delivering this project. Dates are subject to the finalisation of all funding streams, consents, geotechnical and designs.
TDC will provide the project management and procurement services support.

The design calls for a proprietary solution for the roofing structure and membrane. We anticipate dealing with one main contractor who will manage all sub-contractors and trades, noting there is a likely element of community engagement where local support may be required. (for example - a local community group may want to support and lead the planting and landscaping works)

We are anticipating going to market for a main contractor in early 2025.

Drawings, RFx Documents and details will be notified to the market via GETS.

The indicative release date that the buying agency expects a realised procurement process to commence, the FPO will close on this date. Please note that the date will be presented to suppliers by calendar quarter
Initial Development (Concept Phase) - the buying agency is investigating options to procure in the future (high level information expected around the activity). Budget may or may not be available
The Indicative combined value of any realised tenders that may arise from this FPO, this value is intended to set an expectation of the scope of work that is required
An individual agency purchasing on its own behalf
