Overview
To continue with our infection control requirements to replace carpet floor coverings in clinical areas this year’s schedule includes Puawai Aroha – our Maternity Unit. The carpet will be replaced with a vinyl Acoustifloor.
The existing concrete floor will require special attention to ensure the Acoustifloor is laid on a flat substrate, the project will be further complicated by the sensitive nature of the departments operation special consideration will be required to manage the noise, dust and access.
