Overview

This process for calling Registrations of interest (ROI) will lead to shortlist of suppliers that will have the opportunity to present their proposals to replace our existing UPS. This will allow Hauora Tairawhiti to review the information in the ROI and will lead to the selection of one supplier to replace our 120 Kva 3 drawer UPS. The site of the works is within the Gisborne Hospital, ground floor lift lobby.
Servicing our IT server room and computer hubs, Theatre, Endoscopy, ICU / CC and the telephonist consul the UPS system must be reliable
The existing equipment can be described as hot swappable modular, double conversion type, uninterruptible Power Supply system consisting of a 120Kva (96 kW) UPS fitted with three 40 KVA modules, complete with 400V three phase input and output, rectifier / inverter module with output breaker, modular automatic bypass static switch. Currently provides N+1 redundancy.
The information we require in your EOI includes
1. The ability to provide all labour, material, equipment, tools, plant for the proper delivery, installation, connection, testing, commissioning, maintenance and guarantee of the installation.
2. Period in which the hardware & technology will be supported.
3. Response times to effect any emergency repair.
4. Availability of spare units to swap out any module if required.
5. Proven experience in supplying & supporting the UPS installation especially to the Health Sector. Three reference sites are required preferably in the health sector.
6. Is the work or maintenance undertaken by in house staff or a third party.
7. Proven health & safety systems.
8. Make and Manufacturer of your UPS.
