Southern Response Earthquake Services Limited (‘Southern Response’) is the Government owned company responsible for settling claims by AMI policyholders for damage from the Canterbury earthquakes which occurred before 5 April 2012.
Southern Response has engaged Arrow International (NZ) Limited (‘Arrow’) as its Project Manager for the Programme.
Southern Response expects that it will require support from external contractors (‘Building Surveying Consultants’) that can assess buildings that present with defects and non-earthquake related damage. It is expected that comprehensive investigation and reporting (‘Build Survey Work’) from external contractors will be required for at least eighty sites in the Southern Response build programme.
It is proposed to engage more than one consultancy to undertake the survey work.
