Overview:
Sport New Zealand is planning to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of a Financial Management Information System (FMIS) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This initiative aims to enhance our financial and human resource management capabilities, ensuring efficient, transparent, and effective operations.
Scope of Work:
The scope of this RFP includes but is not limited to:
• Financial Management Information System (FMIS):
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Financial Reporting
• E-invoicing
• Expenses
• Project and Business Planning desirable
• Human Resource Information System (HRIS):
• Employee Records Management
• Leave Management
• Benefits Administration
• Performance Management
• Learning and Development
Key Objectives:
• To streamline financial processes with a cloud hosted integrated FMIS and an aligned structure across our Group of entities (SportNZ and High Performance Sport NZ)
• To implement an HRIS that integrates with our existing Payroll platform, enhances employee data management, benefits administration, and overall human resource efficiency.
• To ensure both systems are efficient, scalable, user-friendly, secure, and capable of integrating with existing IT infrastructure as well as utilising modern innovation such as AI .
Timeline:
• RFP Release Date: Early March 2025
• Proposal Submission Deadline: End March 2025
• Evaluation Period: April 2025
• Contract Award Date: May 2025
Eligibility Criteria: Interested vendors must demonstrate:
• Proven experience in implementing FMIS/HRIS solutions in similar organisations.
• Capability to provide ongoing support and maintenance.
• Compliance with relevant Government and industry data and functionality standards.
