Ulva Island is approximately 260 hectares and is located within Paterson Inlet at Stewart Island/Rakiura. The only means of access to Ulva Island is by boat and a wharf is located at Post Office Bay for berthage.
The wharf at Ulva Island is constructed of hardwood timber and has reached the end of its useful life with significant and ongoing repairs required to keep the wharf operational. SDC intends to renew this wh
Without limiting the possible outcomes of this REOI process, the intended purpose of this REOI is to understand the market for marine construction service and capability of suppliers to deliver the scope identified in Sections D and E. It is anticipated that the appropriate procurement documents will be made available to shortlisted parties on or before October 2021 subject to Council processes.
