WasteNet Southland (a solid waste shared service of the Invercargill City Council, Southland District Council and Gore District Councils) wishes to notify prospective suppliers of intent to proceed through an open tender process for the procurement of a contract for the acceptance, sorting and sale of recyclable products collected through Councils’ kerbside mobile bin collections and received at transfer stations across the Southland region. It is anticipated this tender process will open mid-December 2018 closing mid-February 2019. The intent of this notice is to give an indication to interested parties of the timeline and allow sufficient upfront notification to manage their resources should they wish to consider plans for submitting a tender. All further details on the required service will be included within the tender documentation which will be uploaded to GETS. This notification does not require a response.
