The RFQ is for the Demolition of the Administration Block and Kowhai House located on the Main Campus South Canterbury District Health Board (SCDHB), Timaru
The work to demolish would include –
1- Traffic Management and Site Fencing.
2- Disconnection of Existing Services and Capping at the boundary.
3- Demolition of the building and foundations and removal from site in accordance with the New Zealand Building Code and Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
4- Backfill below grade areas (basement) to good ground as defined by the NZ Building code and NZS 3604:2011
5- Backfilling of the excavation to surrounding ground level with granular hardfill material in accordance with NZS 4431:1989 Code of Practice for Earth Fill for Residential Development. Supply and placement of a 50mm depth AP20 running course over the granular fill.
6- Reinstatement of the areas to a reasonable level for parking, including a compacted layer of AP40/20 to give a good surface for parking and walking.
