Rotorua Regional Airport invites visionary café and hospitality operators to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for managing the airport’s exclusive café space. This unique opportunity is ideal for businesses eager to establish a vibrant and welcoming community hub, serving both travellers and the local Rotorua community.
The café is a staple of the airport’s terminal, catering to travellers, local businesspeople, and nearby residents. The chosen operator will benefit from a regular flow of customers, drawn not only from airport traffic but also from the surrounding area, making this location prime for a community-oriented café concept. This opportunity provides a chance to partner with Rotorua Regional Airport Management, and provide an exceptional food and beverage experience to travellers and the broader Rotorua community.
Rotorua Regional Airport seeks a café operator with a fresh, high-quality approach that enhances the RRA’s community centric approach. Ideal candidates should have a track record of delivering excellent customer service with unique flare, flexibility, and a compelling food and beverage offering. This is a chance to build a unique brand presence in an exclusive, highly-visible location with a supportive partnership structure. In the last 12 months almost a quarter of a million passengers have passed through the terminal building.
Interested operators should be willing to present a comprehensive proposal that includes:
A description of your café’s vision, menu, and how it would enhance the airport’s brand and traveller experience.
A summary of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry delivering exceptional customer experience.
Financial proposal and rent structure.
