Overview

Queenstown Lakes District Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to design and build a new community playground for the rural community of Hāwea Flat, located on Long Grass Place reserve. This reserve is considered a rural community park with high usage and Council seek a contractor who can supply a quality design and build solution which will be easy to maintain and service. It is important to Council that a design meets the scope and play values based on the Community-led concept plan for a new playground on this site. This concept plan has been heavily consulted on and driven by the local Community and seeks to provide a combination of play experiences for all abilities. Council wishes to deliver on this community concept plan to offer a high quality, well-maintained play space and within the available budget for the community to enjoy now and into the future.

Note: There will not be a site visit organised for this tender, however, this is public land, and we would encourage tenderers to undertake their own site visit.

Note 2: Annexure 1 is not missing, please refer to the RFP document before requesting.
