Overview

Through a Notice of Intent (NoI) the Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) is advising interested parties of the intention to go to market to attract suppliers(s) for the supply of Regulatory Towing Services. This is for the services of Queenstown Area Towing and Wanaka Area Towing separately or the possibility to engage in towing of both areas from one supplier. QLDC may also consider joint responses from multiple providers.

The opportunity

Supply of Regulatory Towing Services including but not limited to:

• Towing inconsiderately parked vehicles (Unlawfully Parked)
• Towing abandoned vehicles
• Disposing of scrap vehicles

Purpose
The purpose of this notice is simply to assist the market’s business planning by:
• alerting the market to a planned procurement that is currently under development
• to give the market an outline of the requirements and
• the indicative timeline of the planned procurement
