Public Trust is a Crown Entity governed by the Public Trust Act 2001. We are New Zealand's largest and oldest trustee organisation. Set up in 1873 with a mandate to ‘protect the future of New Zealanders’. This is reflected in Public Trust’s Maori name, Te Tari Tiaki Iwi , meaning the organisation that takes care of people. We look after the interests of more than 200, 000 New Zealanders, and we manage over 6,000 family trusts. We administer approximately $4 billion in assets, including around $1.4 billion in investment funds.

Public Trust intends to release a Request for Proposal for the provision of property related facilities management services for both our corporate properties, and many of the properties we manage on behalf of our customers. Any providers of property related facilities management services interested in responding to Public Trust’s RFP should ensure they are registered under the relevant GETS categories for facilities management services.

This is a unique opportunity for organisations in the facilities management market that have nation-wide capability and use modern technologies to support the delivery of high quality, value for money service deliverables. The facilities management services provider we are seeking will play a strategic role in Public Trust’s business outcomes going forward.
